Because of its high specification, the Free Range Layer Pellet is ideal for large flocks of birds or backyard birds with little or no forage areas. Providing a completely balanced diet, this high-protein, high-energy ration will satisfy your poultry’s daily nutritional requirements without the need for additional inputs such as vegetable or food scraps. This feed is ideally suited for egg producing poultry in a free range environment.

For young chicks, the Free Range Layer Pellet is best introduced once they reach the point of lay (18–20 weeks). Blending with the Chicken Starter Grower from 16 weeks is advisable to assist with shell formation.

Typical feed consumption is between 90–110 g per bird per day and is best provided through a feeder. To ensure minimal wastage, keep the feeder elevated so the birds can comfortably access the feed but not scratch it onto the ground. Always ensure the birds have access to plenty of clean drinking water.
