Working horses require a number of vitamins and minerals, not to mention proteins and energy, to remain at their maximum level of performance. Horse owners and trainers need a feed which can provide their horse with these requirements, whilst still being affordable and top quality. PERRYS MAX is designed to allow you to meet these needs, whilst having to use no more than 4kg per day for a hard working horse (Based on a 500kg horse).

PERRYS MAX avoids theproblems of ‘heating up’ caused by using oats as a source of energy, while providing the minerals and vitamins needed for horses with light to heavy work loads. The concentration of vitamins and minerals in MAX allows owners and trainers to add their own cereal grains to suit their horses needs, without requiring extra supplementation.

VITAMINS AND MINERALS

PERRYS MAX contains high levels of the antioxidant Vitamin E and also Selenium, which has a role in preventing cellular oxidation. Other Vitamins include Vitamin A, which has a role in maintaining vision, muscles, bones and normal growth processes, Vitamin D for its role in the absorption of calcium and phosphorous, and B group Vitamins, which have a role in metabolism and red blood cell formation. MAX contains levels of minerals which are required for horses in work, including sodium, potassium, chloride, magnesium and calcium. PERRYS MAX also contains Molofos ‘M’, a balanced molasses based mineral supplement for horses.

PERRYS MAX is formulated to provide high levels of energy for horses in training and performance conditions, and should be fed at reduced amounts to spelling or non-working horses. For the optimal benefit of MAX, it should be added to the horses diet gradually over a 10-14 day period, and be stored in a cool, dry place.
